We started growing microgreens because we wanted to provide quality nutrients to our kids all year round

 

Because we grow our microgreens indoors it had the added benefit that we could provide our kids with pesticide and herbicide-free veg.

As a family, we have reduced our intake of synthetic vitamins as we eat microgreens on a daily basis to compliment every meal with a good serving of essential vitamins and minerals.

We absolutely love the versatility of these greens, they add great flavour to the meals we serve, they require no cooking, and because you only need a small amount, it is easy to add them to every meal.

Complimenting our juices with a serving of our microgreens is the perfect way to start, boost and end your day.

Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs ready for harvesting in less than 14-21 days after germination.

Don't confuse microgreens with sprouts. Sprouts are seeds that have just been soaked in water long enough to germinate.
